Empires Fall
I blog-hopped today by compulsively clicking on the 'next blog' button, which throws you to random blogs. It offers hours of 'fun', especially when you're putting off something important like writing an essay on Japan's involvement in ASEAN+3.
Anyway, I came across this: http://empiresfall.blogspot.com/
It looks like YouthAgainstBush from Minnesota will be posting some of the funniest/scariest videos on Bush and other U.S nutjobs I have seen for a while. It's a young and promising blog with a lot of video material.
I also came across this: http://bandit36.blogspot.com/ , the personal blog of a U.S soldier in Baghdad. Keep safe, mate. There's no intentional irony between this and the title of this post. I'm not a huge fan of the U.S presence in Iraq, but since things are the way they are and there's no point in ranting or raving about it, I hope for a positive outcome for all parties involved.(Charles Clarke may threaten to take away some of my civil liberties, but I still have the right to be a madly optimistic European, okay!?) I will be following bandit36's fortunes from now on.
There are some good-looking blogspot blogs out there. I've been meaning to jazz up my lame blog for ages now, but first I have to figure out the technical stuff and experiment a bit with the template. It'd be fun to have some Japan related pics in the background, like the scary face of Saigo Takamori, who, after all, was the inspiration behind the URL of Article Nine.
