Husky Rescue - Summertime Cowboy

The quality of Finnish pop music has shot up in the past few years from embarrassing to listenable. I don't really follow the scene, and thus Husky Rescue is a fairly new acquaintance. This tune swings like a moose. I like the video, too.

P.S Saturday: Was just reading the Guardian and noticed an ad for Husky Rescue's new album... Proof of just HOW out I am of everything pop music, both here and in Finland.

I have another exam on Friday, this time on modern China and its politics and economics. Possible questions (and therefore the topics I'll concentrate on) include Mao's economic reforms and their successes/failures; China's economic development from 1973 'til today and its consequences for the State; human rights in a Leninist state which has a very particular understanding of the rule of law; and the backgrounds and outcomes of the Cultural Revolution. Another possible question might be on whether the Chinese revolution of 1949 was more nationalist or socialist in ideology and outcomes. Oh, and China's relationship with Japan. Actually I really hope that comes up in the exam. I'll post more on this stuff when I get to the stage when I need to practise my exam answers.

I won't have much time to surf until I get this exam out of the way. Do leave suggestions for structured answers to the above questions, though... Please.

On another note, my lovely flatmate N is moving out. He signed the contract for a very nice newbuild one-bedroom flat earlier today. I went with him for the signing to see the flat, and it was really nice; very airy and with a balcony overlooking Newcastle. About three minutes from the Central Station and next to the Center for Life, for those of you who know Toon at all.

I've been vetting possible new flatmates on uk.easyrommate.com today, and we have a Finnish woman coming over to view our flat tomorrow. Our bedrooms are very small, but anyone who values a central location will still love it (I do). It would be difficult to find anywhere more central for only £262/month.
